About the Role
PwC is seeking experienced Workday Financials professionals to join its growing Workday Consulting team, building on a decade of successful Workday project delivery. The role involves tackling complex business challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes for clients, offering a dynamic career with opportunities for Workday expertise development and client impact.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to client-facing Workday projects, supporting end-to-end delivery of R2R workstreams from design through deployment.
- Work across areas including Financial Accounting, Close & Consolidation, Allocations, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Taxes, and Financial Reporting.
- Understand and challenge client requirements, translating business needs into practical Workday solutions.
- Participate in and support client workshops, including requirements gathering, solution design, and playback sessions.
- Work with data and configure Workday solutions, supporting testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with P2P, O2C, Prism, Accounting Centre, and Data Migration workstreams for end-to-end solution alignment.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues across PwC's Workday delivery teams.
- Support and share knowledge with junior colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
- Experience in Finance Transformation and/or a strong Finance functional background.
- Practical experience working with Workday Record to Report (R2R).
- Experience in relevant Workday Financials areas such as Financial Accounting, Close & Consolidation, Allocations, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Taxes, or Financial Reporting.
- Qualified accountant or demonstrable experience working in finance roles.
- Ability to listen to and understand business requirements and develop practical, thoughtful solutions to client challenges.
- Comfortable engaging with clients and contributing to workshops and project discussions.
- Ability to build effective relationships quickly, establish credibility, and adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Keen to continue developing Workday and consulting expertise.
