About the Role
Design challenging, realistic finance tasks for AI models, evaluate AI outputs, and contribute to task refinement across various finance domains. This role requires a hands-on practitioner with deep expertise in at least one finance area and familiarity with others, capable of crafting and assessing AI-generated work.
Responsibilities
- Design challenging, realistic finance tasks, including scenarios, prompts, and supporting files.
- Run tasks through AI models and evaluate deliverables against professional standards.
- Compare AI model outputs, decide which performed better, and document shortcomings.
- Write detailed grading rubrics specifying requirements for correct deliverables and explain pass/fail criteria.
- Flag concrete failures with evidence, such as broken logic, unsupported assumptions, or misinterpretations.
- Contribute to valuation, modeling, credit, FP&A, markets, treasury, and risk.
- Review and refine tasks built by other experts.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in corporate or investment finance preferred.
- Candidates with less experience are considered where practical work is real.
- Hands-on practitioner: currently doing or recently did the work at an individual contributor level.
- Full professional or native level written and spoken English, with strong written communication.
- Comfort with ambiguity and attention to detail.
- Ability to verify documents against underlying numbers, sources, or facts.
- Capable of interpreting feedback and applying it without hand holding.
- Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar work from written material alone.
- General familiarity with AI and LLM tools, including professional use of models like Claude or ChatGPT.
- Baseline tech literacy: comfortable with cloud file tools, managing browser profiles, installing desktop apps, and everyday file handling.
