About the Role
NH Collection Sydney is seeking an exceptional Rooms Division Manager to join its pre-opening team and play a pivotal leadership role in bringing the newest hotel to life. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the Rooms Division operation, overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Guest Services. This is a unique opportunity to establish service standards, build high-performing teams, and create memorable guest experiences from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Guest Services operations.
- Drive guest satisfaction through personalized service, proactive engagement, and effective service recovery.
- Ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
- Manage room revenue performance, occupancy, and departmental costs.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and implement initiatives that enhance the guest experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and team members to build a high-performing culture.
- Resolve complex guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
- Foster strong collaboration across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams.
- Support all pre-opening activities including recruitment, training, operational setup, and service delivery planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Rooms Division Manager, Front Office Manager, or senior hotel operations leader.
- Experience within premium, luxury, or lifestyle hotel environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue performance, labor costs, and departmental budgets.
- A track record of leading and developing large operational teams.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and service excellence.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A hands-on management style and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous pre-opening experience will be highly regarded.
