About the Role
The Residence Inn® by Marriott Rochester/ Henrietta is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their housekeeping team. This role involves supervising cleaning personnel and inspecting hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies to maintain cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
- Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
- Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed.
- In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision.
- Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
- Works typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- One year previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- Engaging personality.
