About the Role
As the Customer Marketing Specialist, you will run programs that turn DataDome customers into visible, vocal advocates. You are the hands-on program manager and executor for customer marketing, and the day-to-day liaison between Marketing and our customer-facing teams: Account Management and Customer Success. This role is internal and external-facing, working directly with customers to write customer stories, produce video testimonials, and secure reviews, while partnering with Product Marketing, Content, Field Marketing, and SMEs on production and distribution. This role is part of the Corporate Marketing department, which drives corporate messaging, branding, content, communications, and PR. You will thrive here if you are organized, resourceful, and comfortable engaging senior cybersecurity and fraud leaders directly.
Responsibilities
- Execute DataDome's customer marketing programs across three categories, and measure and report on their performance.
- Partner with Account Management and Customer Success to identify champions and success story candidates, and agree on which stories to pursue and when.
- Interview customers and write customer stories, case studies, and quotes, working with Content Marketing on production and distribution.
- Capture video testimonials with customers, coordinating with Content and Creative on production.
- Drive customer review campaigns (G2, Gartner Peer Insights, etc.) and secure testimonials.
- Coordinate customer participation in joint speaking engagements.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate customer-facing campaigns, including customer webinars.
- Support customer advisory board and user group logistics, in partnership with Product Marketing.
- Partner with Field Marketing on customer participation at in-person events.
- Keep customer touchpoints consistent and on-brand across Account Management and Customer Success outreach.
- Work with Account Management and Customer Success to spot expansion and multi-product opportunities in the customer base.
- Build customer marketing campaigns and content that support cross-sell and upsell.
- Maximize the use of customer stories in sales and account collateral, and support materials for renewal and expansion conversations.
- Track program impact on retention, expansion, and pipeline, and report results regularly.
- Serve as the single point of contact from Marketing to Account Management and Customer Success.
- Run a regular cadence with both teams to surface customer wins, advocates, and upcoming opportunities.
- Use SMEs pragmatically, without overburdening them.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in customer marketing, advocacy, or content marketing in B2B tech; cybersecurity is a plus.
- Strong writing and interviewing skills, with experience producing customer stories, case studies, and video testimonials.
- Comfort engaging customers directly, including senior fraud and cybersecurity leaders (CISO, VP-level).
- Excellent project management skills; able to juggle multiple programs and stakeholders and deliver on time.
