About the Role
Store Staff are frontline employees responsible for merchandising, replenishment, product organization, customer service, and maintaining area cleanliness to ensure merchandise is neatly displayed, pricing is accurate, and issues are promptly reported.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance and adhere to work standards.
- Provide proactive and friendly customer service.
- Guide customers to products and provide basic introductions.
- Escalate customer complaints, returns, or issues.
- Complete product shelving, merchandising, and shelf maintenance.
- Replenish and organize products, ensuring shelves are full and orderly.
- Return unwanted merchandise to appropriate locations.
- Check for and manage near-expiration or unsellable products.
- Maintain price labels, promotional labels, and POP materials.
- Assist with shrink and receiving records.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas, including floors, shelves, and displays.
- Assist with receiving, stockroom organization, and inventory counts.
- Report equipment, stockroom, merchandise, or safety exceptions.
- Maintain Testers, samples, and related materials.
- Report missing, damaged, or improperly displayed items.
- Adhere to policies regarding Company property.
Requirements
- High school diploma / vocational secondary school or above.
- Experience in retail, supermarkets, convenience stores, beauty, collectible/toy retail, lifestyle retail, or service industries is preferred.
- Familiar with or willing to learn product merchandising, replenishment and recovery, price labels, expiration management, customer service, cleanliness, receiving organization, and basic work records.
- Strong execution and sense of responsibility.
- Good service and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
