About the Role
This internship is designed to give you hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals at GP Fund Solutions (GPFS). You will participate in several projects, be assigned an accounting team mentor, and build on classroom learning to develop lifelong skills. This is a paid internship opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Perform weekly cash analysis for client accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end bank reconciliations.
- Participate in compiling financial statements for clients.
- Assist in preparing client and investor reports.
- Assist in the day-to-day activities of fund accounting.
- Special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a full-time matriculating student in Accounting, Finance, or related program.
- Applicants must have completed at least the first two accounting courses offered at their university.
- GPA requirements apply.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
