About the Role
As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology, media, and telecommunications location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity while providing courteous assistance and clear directions to individuals at the location.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
