About the Role
At Cardinal McCloskey Community Services (CMCS), we are seeking a dedicated and strategic Social Work Supervisor to lead our Family Treatment/Rehabilitation (FT/R) program in the Bronx. This role involves serving high-risk families facing challenges with substance use or mental health, aiming to prevent foster care placements and promote healing, resilience, and long-term well-being. You will lead a team of professionals, guide interventions, and contribute to strengthening families to protect children.
Responsibilities
- Supervise up to 5 Social Workers and 2 Case Aides, each managing caseloads of up to 10 families
- Conduct monthly case supervision and weekly professional development sessions
- Ensure documentation aligns with ACS program standards and indicators
- Support the development of comprehensive assessments addressing substance use and mental health needs
- Monitor family engagement, behavioral progress, and in-home functioning to meet performance-based outcomes
- Oversee service delivery efforts, including weekly casework contacts and compliance tracking
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's Degree in Human Services and at least two years of relevant child welfare experience
- Working knowledge of ACS Prevention Standards and Policies
- Working knowledge of CONNECTIONS and PROMIS data systems
- Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands
Skills
- Spanish and English fluency is a plus
