About the Role
Iceberg Finance is migrating its data platform to Microsoft Fabric and building a modern analytics ecosystem. This role involves designing data pipelines, building semantic models, and delivering Power BI solutions to drive business decisions. You will work with SQL, Python, Spark, and Power BI in an agile team with direct business impact.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve our modern data platform.
- Develop reliable ETL/ELT processes.
- Design high-performance data models.
- Deliver meaningful insights that support business decisions.
- Automate and industrialize data workflows.
- Collaborate effectively and maintain clear documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Integration, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, or strong experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Azure Data Factory, combined with a willingness to quickly become proficient in Fabric.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), Semantic model design, and Performance optimization.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience using Spark for data transformation and processing.
- Comfortable working with Git, code reviews, and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Curious, organized, and self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ownership-oriented and capable of working independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
