About the Role
Join the Radiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian / Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where we are dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care to patients. The Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of primarily MRI services, assessing patient condition, producing good quality radiographic images, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and execution of primarily MRI services
- Warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff
- Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary
- Assess patient condition
- Produce good quality radiographic images
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
- Primarily cover MRI
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
- N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification
- At least 1 year of experience
- All roles require on-site presence
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP
