About the Role

Help build the iOS platform that lets engineers ship confidently. As Notion’s mobile team grows, we’re turning our first generation of mobile foundations into a durable platform: clearer architecture, easier testing, dependable observability, and faster CI/CD. As an intern, you’ll own a focused project on that platform over the summer, working alongside engineers on our mobile platform, mobile AI, and core product teams. You’ll see firsthand what slows mobile engineers down and ship something that makes their work faster.

Responsibilities

  • Ship a real project to production: Working with your mentor, you’ll scope an iOS project from problem definition to a shipped result by the end of the summer.
  • Make the iOS platform friendlier to engineers and agents: Help build and improve ways to build, run, test, and screenshot the app, so engineers and AI agents can iterate quickly without lowering the quality bar.
  • Learn how a production iOS platform works: Get exposure to shared frameworks, build systems, release quality, and our shared Rust layer.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field.
  • Must graduate before Summer 2028.
  • Previous internship experience.
  • Working towards proficiency of one or more programming languages such as Swift, Typescript, and React.
  • You find large challenges exciting and enjoy discovering problems as much as solving them.
  • You are able to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
