About the Role
PACE Supply is seeking two temporary Warehouse Workers for their San Francisco Branch to assist during the busy holiday season. This role is crucial for daily operations, involving receiving, storing, and distributing products, picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory. The position also supports general warehouse duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently prepare customer orders for will-call or shipping, ensuring accurate filling, packaging, and labeling.
- Receive and prioritize work assignments, retrieving items from inventory using manual methods or forklifts.
- Organize and stage materials for delivery or customer pick-up, verifying order accuracy and timeliness.
- Complete bills of lading for deliveries and maintain organized records for customer pick-up orders.
- Provide prompt service to “Express Will Call” customers and assist with counter sales.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and cooperation.
- Participate in tasks and training to prepare for a Waterworks Trainee role.
- Perform other assigned tasks to support warehouse efficiency and team success.
Requirements
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent credential required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and reading proficiency in English.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Collaborative approach, building positive relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Basic proficiency in math, including counting and performing computations with up to four-digit numbers.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including keyboarding and data entry.
- Ability to analyze situations, consider relevant factors, and recommend effective solutions.
- Commitment to following workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Successful completion of a physical examination.
- Successful completion of a drug test.
Skills
- Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Basic forklift operation skills (training provided if needed).
- Physical capability to lift and move inventory.
