About the Role
NewYork-Presbyterian's Ambulatory Care Network provides high-quality, affordable outpatient care. The Sexual Health Mobile Medical Unit offers gender-affirming, LGBTQAI+, and trauma-informed HIV and sexual health services, aiming to reduce health disparities in at-risk communities. This role involves improving community health and meeting health needs through collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Provide gender-affirming, LGBTQAI+, and trauma-informed care with a focus on HIV and sexual health disparities.
- Work with local community-based organizations, NewYork-Presbyterian community and population health programs, and New York City care delivery systems to provide targeted outreach.
- Collaborate with the brightest minds in healthcare to improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in evidence-based practice focused on respect, quality, safety, patient and staff satisfaction, and value care.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in specialty of practice
- BSN degree
- Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner in area of practice (NYS GNP, ANP, or FNP)
- Current New York State RN license
- Board Certification in area of specialty
- Current BLS certification through AHA
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
