About the Role
The Unit Secretary helps keep our nursing units running smoothly by supporting nurses and CNAs, assisting with communication, maintaining records and paperwork, answering phones, and helping coordinate the day-to-day needs of the unit. Join our team and play an important role in supporting excellent resident care at Katherine Luther.

Requirements
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times angry people
- Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner
- Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Tasks assigned to this position may involve exposure to blood or other body substances
Skills
- Medical terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to maintain confidential information
