About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, common spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
