About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. Conduct routine inspections, report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government administrative location.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as directed, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, public waiting areas, offices, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observed conditions, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
