About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries as an Unarmed Patrol Officer. Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a community-focused care location, maintaining a secure environment. Conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and program participants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or supervisors.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
