About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report concerns, assist visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and local emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
