About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer-focused service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
