About the Role
Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Armed Perimeter Patrol to safeguard clients in various industries. This role offers flexibility with a Part-Time schedule and opportunities to claim additional shifts. You will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, deterring incidents, responding to concerns, and providing professional customer service in a dynamic and collaborative workplace.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
