About the Role

Performs a variety of operational and technical procedures within the darkroom area, assists technologists, manages patient and visitor interactions, handles calls, obtains orders, logs procedures, and transports patients. Assumes responsibility for designated procedures with ingenuity and initiative.

Responsibilities

Files and charts medical reports and related material.
Assigns the proper patient consent form for injectable studies.
Assists in locating patient files.
Transports patients to and from the Imaging Department.
Assists Imaging Services personnel with patient care and heavy duties.
Helps maintain and clean equipment and the department.
Maintains record keeping and filing systems according to department policy.
Delivers and retrieves radiographs for radiologists or physicians.
