About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while reflecting Allied Universal’s values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations in clear, accurate daily activity reports.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
