About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, lobbies, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
