About the Role
As a Merchandiser Floater, you will work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, while also supporting fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasional opportunities to work with other companies' products may arise.
Responsibilities
- Perform service work in Hallmark departments within various retail stores.
- Restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products using a mobile device.
- Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys via technology.
- Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
- Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Provide additional support and extended hours during peak holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
- Participate in department resets, including building fixtures, relocating products, and resetting card sections, with advance notification.
- Support other team members in their territories as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
- Must show how basic qualifications are met via resume, document upload, or application fields.
- Accepted file types for application are DOCX and PDF.
- Employment is contingent upon signing the Employment Agreement, agreeing to arbitration, completing Form I-9, and passing a pre-employment background check.
