About the Role
An established trade association seeks a confident relationship-builder to convert opportunities into new membership by engaging business owners and senior decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Engage business owners and senior decision-makers, communicating a compelling case for membership.
- Work closely with the CEO and Membership Director to shape and present the membership proposition.
- Build relationships with prospective members, keep opportunities moving and convert interest into new members.
- Represent the organisation at relevant industry events and meetings.
- Manage your own schedule and prospect activity, keeping accurate records and following up consistently.
Requirements
- Proven member recruitment experience, ideally within a trade association.
- Comfortable engaging business owners and directors.
- Persuasive, well organised and self-motivated.
- Confidence to work independently and represent an organisation externally.
