About the Role
Titan Secure Inc is seeking a Flexible Security Officer to cover open shifts across different client locations in Central Suffolk Long Island NY. You will fill in for open shifts, callouts, vacations, special events and other short-term assignments.
Responsibilities
- Cover open shifts as assigned
- Conduct foot patrol and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking lots and facility grounds.
- Control Access: Check ID, sign in visitors and contractors and monitor entry points.
- Watch CCTV
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards and policy violations
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Write clear and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports
- Provide courteous customer service to employees, tenants, visitors and the public
- De-escalate conflicts using verbal techniques
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid New York State Guard Registration Card
- Able to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights weekends and holidays
