About the Role
This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts. It is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers entering or exiting the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, access-related activities, and observed irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
