About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
