About the Role
Lead inpatient clinical nutrition operations, champion evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, mentor a team of registered dietitians, and shape nutrition standards across the regional network. This role requires a motivated RD ready to step into or grow within a leadership position.
Responsibilities
- Lead inpatient clinical nutrition operations
- Collaborate with regional clinical nutrition leadership
- Champion evidence-based medical nutrition therapy
- Mentor a dedicated team of registered dietitians
- Partner with regional healthcare team members to shape nutrition standards
- Ensure Metz Culinary Management Vision and Values are present in all interactions
- Provide strong background in patient education
- Manage a team in a large and fast-paced hospital setting
Requirements
- BS Degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian
- 3 years in a Leadership role
- Current Licensed RD
- Experience in a Contract Dining facility setting
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Experience in Nutrition Education
- Strong leadership background
- Experienced in the managerial oversight of the Clinical Nutrition Program
- Amazing communication skills
