About the Role
The Environmental Construction Department at LaBella provides Environmental Remediation, Environmental and Geotechnical Drilling, and Ecological Restoration services. We are currently seeking a Remediation Field Technician to join our Buffalo Remediation team. The chosen candidate will provide support to our remediation team and will work closely with various team members on a variety of remediation and investigation projects. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their knowledge through working in the environmental construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the remediation team.
- Work closely with various team members on remediation and investigation projects.
Requirements
- Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation
- General mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk all day over rough terrain
- Ability to travel regularly (regionally)
- 40 Hr. HAZWOPER certification is required
- Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus
