About the Role

This is a full-time summer internship position (May – August 2027) for an Intern Analyst in the Investment Management - Resources department at Mackenzie Investments. The role requires 37.5 hours per week and offers the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the diversified resource sector, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Head of Team Resources.

Responsibilities

Establish measurement standards (quantitative and qualitative) of sustainable development for our natural resources’ investment universe.
Research and document investment thematic projects.
Review business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, including leveraging AI.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a master’s degree in science, Business, Economics or Renewable Energy studies.
Completed a bachelor’s degree in science (Health Sciences, Math and Statistics, Earth & Science, Geology, Psychology, Agriculture Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics, or Energy studies).
Basic understanding of financial markets would be an asset.
Passion for the energy transition.
Functional knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Bilingual (French & English) is an asset.
Must be eligible to work full-time for the entire duration of the program.
