About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual for the Retail Store Manager role at our Lindt store in the Toronto Eaton Centre. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for sales and merchandising.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the Lindt Retail Boutique.
Generate and drive corporate sales.
Uphold exemplary customer service standards through modeling behavior and establishing guidelines.
Monitor sales and labor issues daily to maximize store profitability while maintaining customer service.
Recruit, interview, and hire Retail Sales Associates.
Supervise store employees to maximize customer service, sales, and profit.
Train staff on sales techniques and product knowledge.
Order merchandise and supplies, focusing on inventory management and loss prevention.
Reconcile daily cash with sales receipts, complete daily paperwork, and manage accounting and payroll.
Develop and utilize full product knowledge and sales information to achieve sales goals and control expenses.
Manage staff performance and assist with employee performance reviews.
Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards.
Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety.
Perform cash handling, inventory ordering, and related retail administrative duties.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Sales oriented, able to develop/build business.
2-5 years of retail management experience.
Good time management habits.
Strong oral and written communication abilities.
Previous experience in a merchandising or presentation capacity.
A history of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
A talent for sales and selling.
