About the Role
Allied Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced JPower Platform Admin/Developer Intern to play a key role within a high-impact technical services team. This apprentice role will be embedded with a Senior Cloud Architect and Power Platform administrator, learning client processes and evolving to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage client’s Power Platform environment, build power applications, automated workflows, agent and code apps.
- Work Power Platform service requests.
- Assist business units with environment setup, troubleshooting, and recommendations.
- Gather and document solution requirements from business stakeholders.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and transition successful prototypes into production systems.
- Design and implement pipelines for Power Platforms applications.
- Coach business personnel on the basics of Power Platform.
- Write clean, efficient software code and scripts for workflows.
- Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT governance, security, and audit standards.
- Act as liaison between the Information Technology Division, business stakeholders, and application developers.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and ensure clarity in solution design.
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues to project sponsors and leadership teams.
- Ensure development projects comply with client’s IT governance, security, and audit requirements.
- Promote reusable components and standardized AI development practices.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve delivery methods.
- Collaborate with developer, cloud architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
- Provide guidance, best practices, and assist in troubleshooting.
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field with studies in software design, programming languages, cloud computing, database management, and advance data structures.
- Comfortable writing and debugging Python code, developed through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Comfortable with React, Typescript, C#, or Java development, developed through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Experience using Git/GitHub for collaborative development.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated willingness to learn production engineering practices (Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployment) on the job.
- Any exposure to Microsoft's Power Platform environments through use of the platform or self-paced training.
