About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to serve as our primary "Solution Builder" for our Pega Factory implementation. In this role, you will be the core technical authority, partnering with business leaders to transform operational vision into high-performing, scalable, and resilient digital applications. You will take full ownership of the technical integrity of implementations, leveraging Pega’s latest capabilities to accelerate delivery and ensure system maintainability across the complete Pega Blueprint lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical architecture and delivery strategy, ensuring applications are built for enterprise scalability, security, and performance while maximizing Pega out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities.
  • Partner with the Solution Designer to execute technical builds aligned with Pega Blueprint, guiding the engineering squad through Authoring and Value Activation phases while upholding "Build for Change" principles.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level System Architects, establish coding standards, conduct thorough peer reviews, and drive technical excellence across the Pega development environment.
  • Collaborate with business, compliance, and integration teams to design robust integrations (REST, SOAP, web services) and translate complex requirements into scalable Pega solutions.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and eliminate architectural bottlenecks, technical debt, and performance risks.
  • Leverage Pega’s integrated AI features to improve solution quality, accelerate build timelines, and streamline development workflows.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and knowledge repositories to ensure critical technical details are systematically captured and shared.

Requirements

  • Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) designation or equivalent proven experience operating as a Senior LSA.
  • Demonstrated track record serving as the primary technical lead in a Pega-based delivery model, translating complex requirements into elegant, high-performing code.
  • Expert understanding and hands-on experience navigating, translating, and executing deliverables directly from Pega Blueprint.
  • Deep proficiency in Pega 8.x / Infinity platform features, Case Management, enterprise Data Modeling, and modern integration patterns (REST, SOAP, microservices).
  • Proven ability to guide cross-functional squads, manage technical stakeholders, and articulate trade-offs between speed-to-market and architectural robustness.
  • Industry experience within financial services, capital markets, or the trust industry.
  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum delivery teams within large enterprise ecosystems.
  • Proficiency with modern DevOps practices, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD workflows within a Pega ecosystem.
  • Applicant must be authorized to work in the country where this position is located.
