Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, front-end architecture, and back-end implementation of web applications using React, Node.js, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust RESTful APIs, web sockets, and microservices to integrate user interfaces seamlessly with core enterprise systems and data sources.
  • Audit, refactor, and optimize application code, implementing caching strategies, database query tuning, and architectural enhancements to ensure responsiveness and scalability.
  • Design and maintain high-performance relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational database storage solutions aligned with application requirements.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, write comprehensive unit tests, resolve complex technical issues, and enforce security, accessibility, and architectural best practices.
  • Deploy, manage, and containerize applications on AWS cloud infrastructure using Docker and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies—including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives—to drive continuous, high-quality delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical working experience.
  • 5+ years of full-stack web development experience building production-grade applications.
  • Strong expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML5, CSS3, and component-based UI architecture.
  • Hands-on experience developing back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python frameworks (such as Express, Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
  • Solid expertise in relational database design and SQL query optimization (specifically PostgreSQL), with working familiarity with NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, containerization using Docker, and implementing automated deployment pipelines (e.g., AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins).
  • Proficient with Git version control workflows and experience working with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Deep expertise across advanced AWS cloud infrastructure services and architectural design.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, capital markets, or transaction processing services.
  • Practical experience establishing automated testing suites and CI/CD testing pipelines using frameworks such as Pytest, Jest, Selenium, or Cypress.
