About the Role
As the Product Manager, you will drive the critical path of the Recoveries Modernization program and architect the future state of our data platforms. You will bridge complex data engineering with business strategy, guiding downstream clients through migration, sunsetting legacy systems, and shaping the post-modernization product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Lead Modern Core Migrations: Drive the onboarding of downstream client applications to destination-state streaming data assets (via GraphQL, DPI, and event-driven architecture), managing testing, root-cause analysis (RCA), and production cutovers for both read and write traffic.
- Decommission Legacy Infrastructure: Formulate and execute the strategy to safely decommission legacy customer, account, and transaction domains as systems transition to the Modern Core.
- Define Destination-State Capabilities: Establish target-state API contracts, design the future Recoveries Data Product, and partner with core platforms to deliver data capabilities that optimize business and customer outcomes.
- Drive Discovery & Strategy: Refine post-MVP backlog intent, conduct discovery, and build compelling business cases for the next wave of foundational capabilities.
- Embed Robust Controls: Collaborate with Tech, Operations, Business Analysis, and Risk partners to design and implement automated, preventative data controls across the ecosystem.
Requirements
- Experience leading technical, data-intensive product initiatives (e.g., system migrations, API definitions, event-driven platforms).
- Strong domain fluency—or the ability to quickly master—account lifecycle, charge-off flows, and customer data management.
