About the Role
As an AI Engineer in an AI Development pod, you will build the AI solutions that run our redesigned workflows, from first prototype to production, on our shared Azure AI platform. This work encompasses generative AI applications, document processing, AI agents, and multi-agent workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered applications, including LLM assistants, document extraction tools, AI agents, and multi-agent workflows that process documents, extract data, perform checks, and prepare work for human review.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing systems and data via APIs, MCP servers, and the shared AI platform.
- Develop workflow logic, tool integrations, guardrails, and human review steps for each workflow.
- Write and execute automated tests and evaluations, addressing defects each sprint through user testing.
- Manage workflows from pilot phase through production, continuously improving them as they scale across funds and clients.
- Collaborate with AI partners in 2027 and subsequently lead builds within an Ultimus pod.
Requirements
- Experience building AI solutions from prototype to production.
- Experience connecting AI solutions to systems and data through APIs, MCP servers, and AI platforms.
- Experience building workflow logic, tool integrations, guardrails, and human review steps.
- Experience writing automated tests and evaluations.
