About the Role

Security Officers are needed for multiple openings throughout the Albany area. These positions are ideal for dependable, professional individuals comfortable working independently, maintaining a visible security presence, and adapting to various work environments.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Conduct foot or vehicle patrols as required by the assigned location.
Monitor access points and observe site activity.
Respond appropriately to security concerns, emergencies, and unusual situations.
Complete daily activity logs, reports, and other required documentation.
Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders when necessary.
Utilize various technologies, including computers, mobile devices, cameras, and access control systems.
Remain alert and attentive while working independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, professional, and dependable attendance.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Comfortable using technology and completing written reports.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or challenging situations.
Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations.
Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving program requirements (for select positions).
