About the Role
Assist General Managers in providing leadership, guidance, and support to hotel teams, fostering the Buffalo Lodging Associates culture and values of Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Inclusive.
Responsibilities
- Manage hotel operations during management absence or as assigned.
- Oversee facility operations including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, food and beverage, and human resources.
- Manage front office operations and supervise front desk and food and beverage staff.
- Resolve guest concerns to maintain high franchise Guest Service scores.
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment between staff and management.
- Conduct interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, and employee coaching.
- Plan, assign, and direct work, and address employee complaints and concerns.
- Perform administrative tasks including reporting, inventories, and accounting processes.
Requirements
- Two years of related management experience.
- Hotel brand knowledge.
- Extensive experience with rooms, housekeeping, and food and beverage operations.
- Working knowledge of hotel operations, including security and safety programs, personnel relations, quality assurance, and long-range planning.
- Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
- Hands-on leadership style.
- Valid Driver's License.
