About the Role

Responsibilities

You are responsible for our Berlin warehouse: goods receipt, storage, inventory management, order picking, and goods issue.
You pick and deliver to construction sites, including the initial equipping of new employees.
You build structure in the warehouse: storage logic, labeling, minimum stock levels, and inventory counts.
You help design our in-house WMS and the equipment tracking. We are currently building both ourselves. You contribute warehouse practical experience and help decide how it works.
You manage tools, equipment, rental machinery, and PPE, including inspection deadlines (UVV/DGUV).
You translate material requirements from construction into the correct items and use your technical understanding to turn an open request into the appropriate position.
You obtain supplier quotes, compare them, and follow up. You consistently follow up with suppliers: order confirmations, delivery dates, backorders.
You initiate orders in TAWO ONE, track them, and maintain item and supplier data.

Requirements

One of the following backgrounds: from warehousing (training or experience in warehouse logistics, material management, or wholesale and foreign trade) where you know how a warehouse runs and want to build one yourself; from the electrical sector (background in electrical trades, electrical wholesale, or technical sales) where you know the material and want a shaping role; or as a career changer (commercial or technical training plus hands-on experience in daily operations). We will teach you material knowledge, but not how to get things done and structure.
Technical understanding of electrical materials or the willingness to learn quickly.
A structured, pragmatic approach to work and an affinity for digital tools. You don't need a perfect template to get started.
Hands-on mentality: The job is predominantly physical in the warehouse, not at a desk.
Strong persistence and communication skills in dealing with suppliers.
Willingness to drive to our construction sites for ad-hoc deliveries.
Class B driver's license, forklift license is an advantage.
Very good German language skills.
