About the Role

As a (Senior) Operations Manager – Abrechnung Pflegekassen Health Tech (w/m/x), you will be part of our Partner & Payments Management Team and report directly to the Senior Team Lead Partner & Payments Management. You will be responsible for the entire process of cost coverage by nursing care insurance, from application to payment confirmation and billing, directly impacting our cash flow.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for end-to-end billing with nursing care insurance, from application for cost coverage to payment receipt, and are actively involved operationally.
• You manage our billing service provider and other external partners, and consistently drive open issues with them and the insurance providers to a resolution.
• You check billing and payment data, identify anomalies and financial risks early on, and make numbers and processes transparent through meaningful reporting.
• You not only resolve individual cases but also identify patterns, fix root causes, and establish processes that are documented, scalable, and automated where sensible.
• You actively shape the future of our billing processes, not just on paper but also in implementation.

Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in operations, process management, FinOps, partner management, or billing management, ideally in the healthcare or tech environment.
• You have demonstrably built processes from scratch and managed external service providers.
• You are proactive, take ownership, identify potential for improvement, and are hands-on operationally. You communicate clearly and reliably – internally and externally.
• You work analytically and very precisely, are proficient in Google Sheets/Excel, and use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT as a matter of course in your daily work.
• You speak German at a native level and English at a minimum of B2 level.
