About the Role
This position is part of Voya Investment Management's Summer Student Program, offering students firsthand experience in the investment management industry while working alongside professionals. The role involves supporting advisor-facing marketing campaigns, from content and campaigns to events, product launches, and special projects, providing exposure to various marketing areas. Participants will also engage in informational sessions, networking events, and volunteer opportunities for a broader understanding of the asset management business.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing campaigns, emails, webinars, presentations, and advisor communications.
- Research industry trends, investment products, competitors, and marketing best practices.
- Assist with conferences, events, product launches, and special projects.
- Help coordinate projects and keep deliverables moving across multiple teams.
- Learn how content, campaigns, and product marketing work together to support business goals.
- Contribute across a variety of marketing activities while gaining broad exposure to the team and business.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated capabilities using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable asking questions, taking initiative, and learning in unfamiliar situations.
- Curious, resourceful, and eager to learn.
- Collaborative, dependable, and willing to contribute wherever needed.
- Interest in marketing, investing, financial services, or how businesses connect with customers.
