About the Role
GXO is recruiting for a HGV Category C+E (Class 1) night tanker driver to join their transport team in Dagenham. The role involves loading and discharging powder products, primarily cement, with full training provided for operating a powder tanker.
Responsibilities
- Single drop deliveries from the Dagenham depot to manufacturing and construction industry customers
- Load and discharge powder products under pressure from tanker to silo
- Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues
- Provide exceptional service to customers
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
- Ensure required documents are completed accurately and on time
Requirements
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 current penalty points

Salary/Compensations
- £47,224.32 per annum (based on 48 hours per week)
- £18.92 per hour
- £20.00 night shift allowance
