Responsibilities

Operate modern, well-maintained tractor-trailers on local and regional routes
Safely deliver grocery products to Price Chopper and Market 32 locations
Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Use modern fleet technology throughout your shift
Communicate equipment, safety, delivery, and operational concerns
Protect company equipment and merchandise
Make safe, timely deliveries
Represent our Transportation team professionally at every location

Requirements

Must be able to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement on license when eligible
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid Federal CDL-A license (CDL-A license with FMCSA waivers will not be accepted)
Must have a valid Federal DOT physical card
Acceptable driving abstract
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
Ability to meet applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements
Ability and willingness to work the schedule associated with the position
Commitment to safety, integrity, reliability, and professionalism

Experience Level

Experienced CDL-A drivers can enter at an accelerated pay rate
3+ Years of Qualifying Experience: Start at top-scale pay immediately
1 – 2.99 Years of Qualifying Experience: Start at the mid-rate and reach top scale in approximately 6 months
Less than 1 Year of Qualifying Experience: Start at the entry rate and reach top scale in approximately 12 months
New to Professional Driving: CDL-A Apprenticeship Program available for paid training

Education Level

Valid CDL-A required
Ability to obtain a valid DOT medical certification
Doubles/Triples endorsement or willingness to obtain it

Salary/Compensations

Pay Range: $22.84- $26.35
Earn up to $130,000 per year, plus bonuses

99% No-Touch Freight: Powered pallet jacks handle the vast majority of freight movement.
