About the Role

Agentforce is Salesforce's defining bet on the agentic AI era. This role plays a key part in our Next-Gen BD motion, building a strategic ecosystem from scratch by incubating 0-to-1 partnerships and recruiting/scaling AI-native partners. AgentExchange is the marketplace and platform at the center of this effort. This is one of Salesforce's highest-priority initiatives, requiring a fast-moving, product-oriented partner builder with a background in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, and/or strategic ecosystems. The role sits at the intersection of product, strategy, and GTM, helping drive how Salesforce identifies and scales its next wave of AI partners.

Responsibilities

  • Help source, structure, and close bespoke product partnerships that advance Salesforce’s AI and ecosystem vision.
  • Identify, validate, and launch net-new integration patterns, interop standards (e.g., MCP and A2A), and use cases from concept to prototype to proven pattern, then support the hand-off to scaled execution teams.
  • Recruit and activate net-new product partners, and support the broader ISV recruiting motion.
  • Represent Salesforce in conversations with founders and product leaders, recruiting and activating the next generation of strategic partners.
  • Partner closely with Product, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to help define the commercial, legal, and technical patterns for net-new surfaces.
  • Keep a strong pulse on the AI market, track emerging AI-native players, and surface recommendations that expand AgentExchange’s reach and differentiation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in product management, partnerships, strategy, consulting, or corporate development, ideally with experience in product partnerships or product ecosystems.
  • Track record of helping close product partnerships that drive user engagement, enterprise adoption, and business growth.
  • Ability to recruit and activate partners, and support scaled recruiting motions for an ISV or developer ecosystem.
  • Strong 0→1 builder mindset — experience launching new products, platforms, or ecosystems, and contributing to GTM.
  • Genuine passion for the AI market with a strong, current pulse on market trends and future direction.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where creativity, velocity, and precision matter.
