About the Role

Drive global film delivery and elevate the cinema experience. As a Frontend Engineer, you will own the frontend domain, leading the design, development, and evolution of scalable web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions that meet business objectives and exceptional user experience standards.

Responsibilities

Drive the timely delivery of innovative frontend solutions.
Architect modern React applications.
Optimize performance and build pipelines.
Ensure robust, production-ready implementations.
Champion best practices, code quality, and scalable design principles.
Modernize and enhance software platforms.
Design, configure, and scale a modular, maintainable React application to replace the legacy MarionetteJS system.
Design implementation (HTML, CSS, Tailwind).
Maintain and configure modern frontend tooling to maximize code-splitting, reusability, tree-shaking, and performance.
Consume complex API payloads engineered by the PHP team, implementing robust local caching and asynchronous state logic.
Create and maintain clean and responsive client-side experiences based on UX specifications.
Ensure completed software complies with all architecture, design, and programming standards.
Ensure developed software meets all functional and technical requirements.
Provide technical management and leadership at the code level.
Create required technical specifications and designs in line with current architecture for new features/projects.
Write technical documentation.
Ensure project assignments are completed within realistic time frames.
Deal with and resolve day-to-day development and support queries.
Plan, organize, and analyze effectively.
Self-manage, prioritize, and multi-task.

Requirements

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Solid 5+ years of React Development.
Solid understanding of Git, semantic layouts, and Figma.
Understanding of SOLID Principles and Design Patterns.
Excellent understanding of React.
Excellent understanding in design implementation.
Excellent TDD and BDD skills.
Excellent understanding of Clean Code and SOLID.
Proficient in Git.
Familiar with software project life cycles, including Waterfall and Agile.
Skilled at solving and communicating complex problems, applying knowledge and technology.
Conceptual thinking, able to understand the underlying issues in complex problems.
Familiar with application security and scalability.
Own the Frontend solution architecture.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Good planning, organisational and analytical skills.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with modern office tools and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite—especially advanced Excel.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of electronic content delivery and hard drive replication within the theatrical distribution space.
