About the Role
As a Floor Leader, you will support the Store Management Team by driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. You will ensure an exceptional customer experience, a motivated staff, and operational excellence. Your day-to-day involves leading sales associates to achieve goals, fostering a positive work environment, and making the world a better place one soap at a time.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by coaching the sales team, adjusting shop floor structure, and taking ownership of results.
- Deliver world-class customer experiences through leading by example, product demonstrations, and exceeding sales goals.
- Educate customers on Lush brand values and ethical positions.
- Increase product knowledge through continuous learning and make informed product recommendations.
- Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Encourage open communication and foster a sense of belonging by promoting teamwork and valuing employee contributions.
- Manage cash handling, customer transactions, register operations, deposits, and store security.
- Lead by example in attendance and punctuality, and monitor employee breaks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Train the team on inventory best practices and support management with inventory tasks.
- Ensure store compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, workplace respect, and health and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in problem-solving customer service issues in day-to-day operations.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
