Responsibilities
- Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
- Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance.
- Treat quality as a key pillar of success by always doing the right thing for customers.
- Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member.
- Receive incoming goods.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock and recording location of inventory.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Assist in relief of breaks as needed.
- Maintain records and documentation.
- Complete other projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Possess sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability.
- Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed.
- Represent the company in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner in all matters.
- Comply with occupational safety regulations.
- Work in shifts and overtime as required.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
