About the Role
The Spa Attendant is responsible for inspecting, stocking, and maintaining the Spa in a clean and orderly manner, promoting a relaxing and enjoyable environment, and embodying the Guerlain brand values.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for the GUERLAIN brand, demonstrating professionalism and sharing brand enthusiasm.
- Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms, common areas, and all Spa-related areas.
- Greet and treat guests professionally and friendly, providing full attention and addressing them by name.
- Ensure adequate stock of supplies and replenish as necessary.
- Check and adjust steam room and/or treatment rooms for proper temperature and cleanliness.
- Care for and maintain equipment, reporting any defaults to Spa Management.
- Practice linen and toweling recycling according to hotel procedures.
- Clean and make up treatment rooms to GUERLAIN and Hotel X Toronto standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience in a Spa or related industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, employees, and management.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
- Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
